The project’s mission is to increase awareness of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) and encourage Slovak companies to discover opportunities for doing business with the U.S.
The company Aliter Technologies was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of the outstanding contribution in promoting transatlantic trade and investment.
The ceremony was held at the Residence of the US Ambassador on June 7 on the occasion of the visit of Dr. Christina Sevilla, Deputy Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Small Business at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR), Executive Office of the President and the U.S. lead negotiator on small and medium enterprises for the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (T-TIP) with the European Union.
TTIP aims to open trade and investments between the EU and the USA and open the transatlantic market also for SMBs. A central shared goal of TTIP is to yield greater openness and transparency, reduce unnecessary costs and administrative delays and promote enhanced regulatory compatibility, while achieving the levels of health, safety, and environmental protection that each side deems appropriate and meeting other legitimate regulatory objectives.Aliter Technologies delivers the solutions to several countries internationally. Due to the increasing number or signed contracts with NATO, as well as the fact that as the only Slovak IT company it has entered into Basic Ordering Agreement with NATO, there is a huge potential for the company in the field of security and defense technology on the USA market.
„Removing tariffs and various fees would certainly help company’s business. Opening up public procurement markets in the U.S. would also be beneficial for us, as well as simplifying the process of applying for working visa for employees sent to the U.S.“
Doing good deeds is close to our company, therefore Aliter Technologies did not miss the opportunity to support annual NATO Charity Bazaar.
