Aliter Technologies partner of the Forbes 30 under 30 conference

Successful young entrepreneurs, doctors, scientists, teachers, artists and journalists are in the Forbes 30 under 30 rankings.

We actively participated in the 7th year of the Forbes 30 under 30 event. The pre-event of the event itself was the site visit event Forbes 30 under 30 in our premises. During the visit, we revealed to our guests the entire life cycle of one interesting business idea – MONSE project, which was created as a spin-off and today is an independent company. We guided them from idea through milestones, pitfalls, team building, own development vs. existing technologies, testing on real clients until the first entry into the market.

During the organization of the Forbes 30 under 30 event itself, the Slovak and Czech magazine Forbes once again joined forces, and the event took place in the premises of the Bratislava Municipal Brewery. Participants were able to hear the views of experts in panel discussions on various topics: sustainability, dangerous myths that prevail in the business world, corporations vs. startups, how to live and work digital nomads, gaming as a business, investors’ view of the CEE region, fintech vs. bank , business and corona – seized opportunity or fall. An attractive keynote was the debate with startup stars from the region.

Our CEO Peter Dostál and Damian Brhel, co-founder of the Brand Embassy startup and the Forbes 30 under 30 Czech Republic ranking, together with Slavomír Tulej, CEO of Kiuub and member of the Forbes 30 under 30 Slovakia ranking, discussed the topic of Corporations vs. startups. At the end of the panel, all discussants agreed that the basic recipe for how corporations can approach startups is to organize teams, create micro-teams and allow them to create their own rules.

Simultaneously with the panel discussions, there was also a car pitch of ideas, during which a startupist sat in the car with a well-known business person – the investor, they both consulted, discussed and analyzed his idea for starting a business. The event culminated in the presentation of the Forbes 30 under 30 awards, which Slovak and Czech representatives of this year’s ranking came to take over.
