Finance Controller

We are expanding our Finance team and looking for a new colleague to join us. We are seeking someone with experience in financial controlling within a Slovak company (including outside a corporate environment). We also welcome candidates with experience in double-entry bookkeeping who would like to move towards a controlling role.

What will be your task:

  • Monitoring the financial performance of individual project cost centers and tracking adherence to approved budgets

  • Overseeing the correct allocation of costs to project cost centers

  • Reviewing planned cash flow and identifying deviations

  • Preparing regular reports and financial analyses

  • Verifying the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of financial data in systems

  • Performing internal administrative controls

  • Close cooperation with project managers and account managers

  • Daily work in the ERP system

  • Actively participating in the optimization of financial and internal processes

What should you meet?

The position is suitable for applicants with education:

  • university degree I

  • university II. degree

Language skills:

  • English language - Intermediate (B1)

Education in the field:

  • Finance

Other knowledge:

  • Microsoft Excel - Advanced

  • Microsoft Office – Intermediate

Number of years of experience:

  • 3 years

Personal attributes and skills

  • At least 3 years of experience in financial controlling or double-entry bookkeeping

  • Interest in developing your skills in budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis

  • A proactive approach, with a willingness to improve processes and look for more efficient solutions

  • Good communication skills, as you will be in daily contact with colleagues

  • Responsibility, independence, and analytical thinking

  • English at a communicative level

* €1700/month. The stated salary represents the minimum level, the final amount of the salary will be fine-tuned depending on the experience and individual skills of the applicant.
