Unmanned aircraft, land and sea drones

Unmanned systems have become key modern technologies in a wide range of applications. These autonomous or remotely controlled devices are used in a wide range of areas, from civil applications to military and security tasks. The use of AI also brings new and revolutionary capabilities to their operation.

Extensive experience in the UAV sector enables the provision of customized, end-to-end solutions. This background allows for the delivery of tailored and comprehensive solutions, covering every stage from system design to integration and successful mission execution.

The implementation of unmanned systems depends on specific needs, locations and threats. Off-the-shelf solutions are often ineffective, which is why an individual approach is key - tailor-made design and implementation with an emphasis on a combination of technologies and principles.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV)

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are systems designed to operate in the air without the need for human presence.

Applying the solution

  • Intelligence and observation

Use is possible when necessary to monitor the terrain or obtain information from hard-to-reach areas.

  • Logistics

Suitable for delivering materials, medicines, or other supplies to remote locations.

  • Security and protection

Use in monitoring borders or as a response to security threats. Excellent helper when searching for missing persons.

  • Civilian use

From a civilian perspective, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles is suitable for building inspections, mapping, or providing internet access in remote areas.

  • Military use

In a military environment, UAVs serve, for example, for reconnaissance, support of ground forces, as a system carrying weapons systems, or for ensuring communications.

Ground Drones (UGV)

Ground drones or UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicles) are systems designed to operate on the ground without the need for human presence.

Applying the solution

  • Survey and monitoring

Such a system can be used, for example, for terrain monitoring, explosive ordnance detection (EOD), or assistance in natural disasters.

  • Logistics

The solution is suitable for delivering materials to places inaccessible to people or vehicles.

  • Security

Ground drones also have a role, for example, in supporting police operations, protecting sensitive objects, or monitoring conflict zones.

  • Agriculture

These systems can be a great helper in agriculture, where they provide automated irrigation, fertilization, or collection of data about soil and crops.

Marine drones (USV)

Marine drones or USV (Unmanned Surface Vehicles) are systems specially designed to operate on the water surface without the need for human presence.

Applying the solution

  • Survey and mapping

The advantage of maritime drones is their use in monitoring the seabed, analyzing water surfaces, or in environmental studies.

  • Security

From a security perspective, these systems are suitable for monitoring the coast, identifying illegal activities, or supporting maritime rescue operations.

  • Military use

In a military environment, the solution is suitable for protecting ships and ports, anti-submarine operations, or monitoring maritime threats.

Virtual Mast

Solutions that replace the classic mechanical mast, serving as carriers of cameras, antennas, lights, sensors, radios and other devices that can be used to monitor security, traffic, natural disasters, sporting events or other gatherings of people.

Applying the solution

  • Traffic management

In situations where heavy traffic is expected, VIMA drones can be used as a traffic monitoring platform. Thanks to their long flight time, they are able to monitor traffic junctions, car parks, etc. The devices have been successfully used to provide real-time traffic information in places that are not normally exposed to heavy traffic, typically during sporting or social events. By monitoring the situation, the police can direct traffic as needed. It is possible to use a day or night camera.

  • Natural disasters

In the event of floods, MCP can monitor the floodplain in real time and the responsible personnel can monitor the movement of water over time. By using special software, it is then possible to calculate a projection of how the flow will evolve. In the event of disasters, where the telecommunications infrastructure is destroyed, VIMA tethered drones can remain in the air for hours and provide radio coverage of the area. By deploying several drones at the same time, it is possible to temporarily replace the cellular network through the use of a so-called BTS and provide a signal until the standard infrastructure has been restored.

  • Safety

The VIMA drone can be integrated into the security system of larger complexes or areas. The drone is programmable and can monitor pre-planned routes at specified times or dates or, conversely, operate reactively and take off in the event of any security breach. Responding personnel will obtain an immediate overview of the situation, or thermal/visual confirmation of the intrusion, and can prepare for intervention.

Possible accessories include a high-performance industrial UAV LED lighting system with a range of 150 m, which can instantly illuminate unlit areas.

  • Fire fighting

In the event of bush fires and forest fires, VIMA can take care of monitoring the fire activity. Thanks to the special software, it is then possible to calculate the speed of propagation of the fire and its direction. Even after the fire has been extinguished, VIMA can monitor the area by using a thermal imaging camera and detect any possible reignitions in advance. This can be used in larger building fires where self-reignition is a serious problem.

Drones for industry

We offer solutions for drones for industrial use, such as camera surveillance and reconnaissance or the placement of bird diverters on high-voltage lines, or their removal.

Where can our solutions be applied?

  • Installation of bird diverters

The first drone in the world to install 300 bird diverters in one day! It is also invaluable in situations and environments where it is not possible to apply standard procedures for the installation of diverters, such as in the case of power lines over water bodies or swamps, at intersections with roads, in difficult terrain or over fields with growing crops.
