What will be your role?

POSTGRESQL DATABASE ENVIRONMENT ADMINISTRATION:

  • Cluster management and High Availability (HA/DR)

  • Backup and recovery

  • Performance tuning and optimization

  • Regular maintenance and monitoring

  • Cluster upgrades and updates

  • Data encryption and security

  • Administrative tasks (DBA – Mid level)

OPENSHIFT AND KUBERNETES PLATFORM ADMINISTRATION

LINUX OPERATING SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION

ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATION (experience in this area is an advantage)

What are the requirements?

The position is suitable for candidates with the following education:

  • University degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD)

Years of experience:

  • 3

Professional Experience and Skills:

  • Min. 3 years of experience with PostgreSQL administration in a production environment

  • Experience configuring and managing HA/DR solutions for PostgreSQL

  • Practical experience with Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes administration

  • Knowledge of Linux – RHEL and/or Ubuntu at a system administrator level

  • Experience with database and infrastructure monitoring (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent)

  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)

  • Advanced SQL knowledge – optimization, query tuning, and execution plan analysis

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Oracle Database administration (version 12c and newer)

  • Knowledge of Statspack or Oracle AWR reporting

  • Experience with pg_tde or other TDE solutions

  • Red Hat certifications (RHCE, RHCA) or OpenShift certifications

  • Experience with tools such as Patroni or PGpool

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps approaches (ArgoCD, Helm)

  • Proactive attitude toward identifying and eliminating risks before incidents occur

  • Responsibility and reliability in operating critical OpenShift/Kubernetes and database infrastructure

  • Effective communication skills with development teams and management

  • Willingness to learn and follow trends in database technologies and cloud infrastructure

  • Ability to work independently and in a team, flexibility for ad-hoc requests

Base salary (gross) and other rewards

From 2,500 EUR / month. The stated salary represents the minimum level; the final amount will be adjusted based on the candidate's individual skills and experience.
