As part of the LIFE Danube Free Sky project, we are installing bird flight diverters on a 400 kV power line in the Hať – Nová Dedinka area (Senec District)
Aliter instalation diverters by drons

Every year, millions of birds around the world die after colliding with power lines, including many rare and endangered species.

One of the proven solutions to prevent such fatalities is the installation of special protective devices directly on high-risk sections of power lines.

As part of the LIFE Danube Free Sky project, installations are being carried out in seven countries within the Danube River Basin to minimize the risk of bird collisions with power lines.

Using a special drone that allows work to be performed without disconnecting the line from operation, we can install up to 300 bird flight diverters per day directly on the ground wires of the line.
